We’ve lost far too many hackers to suicide. What if Satoshi was one of them? https://t.co/vRORxWHwI1 https://t.co/ZGD5LvTzi7

The Jesus thing is violent coercion fails at the (terrifying scale) of human life. But it still fails. Moral coercion (without explanation) fails immediately after you hit “send tweet.” Doesn’t mean you can’t or shouldn’t ever use violence, or morality, but it isn’t real change.

Cringing at ANYTHING makes it more powerful. Anything less than a better explanation will eventually lead to a meme becoming more powerful. Isn’t that the meta-message behind Jesus (martyrdom)? All coercion (eg moral) fails at the scale of reality. Only memes can defeat memes https://t.co/Ly7q8jP4Yr

Could probably make that even easier. If I had infinite time (and wasn't part of Japanese overwork business culture), and infinite money, it'd be cool to develop free quantum physics learning materials.

The problem is when either become dogmatic, because that is anti-creative. Humans goaded by impossible perfection. I feel like both are too dogmatic right now. We need more big experiments.
