@_pretyflaco @lopp It (symbolically?) removes the coercion (dev-centralized) threat aspect of a possible UASF.

LMAO we just got an invoice for the Furikomi charge for an invoice that WE sent. So we have to furikomi the furikomi charge (which we are then charged for). furikomi, lol

And I feel like this is just saying, similar to what David Deutsch says in Fabric of Reality, that an AI or Universal Turing Machine, or human even, has a (VR) reality replicator built in. But, we aren't just reality replicators, and meme replicators etc, we can also construct: https://t.co/bHMSkK05LW

I meant 'it appears to be centralized because..." anyway, this also reminded of a bit in "Consider the Lobster" (warning: DFW) https://t.co/7wyyU3yt0v https://t.co/6kPh1rm9Fi

Consciousness (thinking) is decentralized theme, it's not obvious, but it appears to be because that's how perception works? Another connection: https://t.co/Qdf52pWa2V "If Materialism Is True, the United States Is Probably Conscious"

@JeremyRubin @theinstagibbs I think they “get it,” it’s already on signet. But I guess with the “Overton Window” discussion it’s like: “did UASF make the miners into politicians,” or were they always politicians? Or something. I don’t quite buy that explanation.
codybaldwin
@JeremyRubin @theinstagibbs If the miners don’t signal, that means the explanation wasn’t good enough. If the explanation was better than the existing one (ie the proposed solution “taproot” was the right solution for Bitcoin), that either it wasn’t actually the right solution or the miners didn’t “get it”.

@JeremyRubin @theinstagibbs The best explanation for a solution to a problem in a system for finding the best explanation to a proposed solution to a problem is the explanation that offers the best platform for the explanation that will supersede it.
