RT @notgrubles: Fun fact: Vitalik tried to be an intern at Ripple. Justin Sun was actually hired by them and worked there until 2016.

@ToKTeacher @jchalupa_ @petegrif @PostCritRat Oh yeah, I forgot it was on two tablets, like the 10 commandments? Perhaps there is a lost tablet that will be dug up one day, discredited by the experts, but will inspire a generation of philosophers and writers, that roughly translates to: "Problems are not inevitably solved."

@ToKTeacher @jchalupa_ @petegrif @PostCritRat When I was in college I got very caught up with “the inevitable,” and there was no Twitter at the time, so it’s taken me 10 years to figure this out. I think a lot of people make this mistake, why? Maybe there’s a better phrasing than “problems are inevitable, problems are...”?

RT @ToKTeacher: @jchalupa_ @petegrif @PostCritRat Yes. The claim “People can understand anything” is just a special case of “Problems are s…

@JeremyRubin @brian_trollz @LukeDashjr True, the best part of a coinflip is that you don't have to abide by it: https://t.co/hdcZ1vui6J Anyway, it's all a distraction from the fact that Bitcoin doesn't need to rely on miners to error correct.

@JeremyRubin @brian_trollz @LukeDashjr Sorry to be angry here. But, fucking do Height then. If it's wrong, error correct quickly. https://t.co/G6dFAttNGp

@JeremyRubin @brian_trollz It's not making a decision. It's avoiding attempt at explanation. Were an equal amount of people from both sides willing to flip? If not, the side with less flippers should win. @LukeDashjr appears to be the only responsible dev. mentioned--not afraid to make a decision.

The reason you should be concerned about China is there is NO TERM LIMIT. Since 2018. There is possibly no way to non-violently remove the leader. That’s it. Many people agree (myself included) that it’s worth dying for a system that allows you to remove a leader non-violently.

Would you rather: solve the problem of too many people on Earth or solve the problem of too much CO2 on Earth? People forget that that the reason we have the latter is continuing to solve the former. More people is _never_ the problem.
codybaldwin
@visakanv People also tend to think that people cause all of the problems (or they get caught up in the fact that even if they are positive and solve problems more bigger problems will arise). Actually, we solve problems, and problems are inevitable.

RT @visakanv: nice norms u got there, it would be a shame if someone were to transgress them
