Why do we vaccinate kids in Japan with such seriousness (BCG scar on literally every Japanese person I’ve ever met, including my child and wife), generally for other stuff, but the opposite (after immune compromised) with COVID-19 now? https://t.co/t90hefuIaOhttps://t.co/dg2CZ9s4zt
@JaimieMurdock As far as optimism goes: These are problems that people need to solve. Bitcoin is a new tool for problem solving. So is the State. Both are good.
Mortgages on the blockchain is probably a post OP_CTV or AnyPrevOut era possibility. It’ll be an engineering issue at that point.
@JaimieMurdock That’s a good point! MasterCard buying Ciphertrace and Coinbase’s current regulatory moat building is a great example of this playing out with companies helping the state.
There’s a lot of paths to take the conversation from there.
@JaimieMurdock RE: Stablecoin intermediaries. Solutions like Bisq are simply not working. There is a huge demand(profitable) to solve this problem. As liquidity grows in LN, for small sums of money ($100s), something like Strike /is/ working. But, there is a LOT of room for improvement here.
