.. but _not_ if P ≠ NP, then bitcoin is safe. Which would basically require proof that for both SHA and the public key algo, if they're broken, then P=NP.. It doesn't mention any such, i don't think that exists.

This article essentially stupidly parades around a deep math fact, trying make bitcoin cool by association. _It is advertising_.

@mu the crypto is probably safe, on different grounds. (which i dont quite understand)

Furthermore, there are more pertinent security issues around Bitcoin. Our computers are almost certainly insecure.

Or that a few companies product the bitcoin equipment, or the inability of the bitcoin community to stop the incredible energy costs of their system.

Look like symptoms of reiterating the same problems mainstream society has.
